Still I Rise

This exhibition is proudly presented to you by talented Photographer and Director, Olamide Ojegbenro (directedbylamide) alongside SoulSPCE Collective aiming to capture the essence of our community and highlight the beauty and strength of black women living in Ireland.

We want to celebrate unique experiences, struggles, and triumphs through a series of portraits and stories that capture the essence of our community. Through a series of captivating portraits and accompanying narratives, we intend to celebrate the rich tapestry of experiences, struggles, and triumphs that make up our community.

Olamide Ojegbenro has worked on a number of distinctive and storytelling projects whilst showcasing an array of past and upcoming exhibitions including "What Cannot Be Seen" @whatcannotbeseen and "NAÏVE" photobook @naivephotobook as an extension of the exhibition in March 2022. Olamide Ojegbenro plans to continue using his craft and passion for photography and film to showcase diverse stories and faces on a global scale.
